The NBA Draft withdrawal deadline for college players has come and gone and multiple players who pulled out of the draft are also in the transfer portal. North Carolina has two scholarships left to play with (if they so desire) and has the opportunity to land one of these NBA Draft pull-outs. Last year, this was the wave of players from which the Tar Heels landed Pete Nance. Might they be able to do it again? One such target is Creighton transfer forward, Arthur Kaluma. Kaluma, along with Grant Nelson, is one of the best remaining front court players in the transfer portal. While the Tar Heels already appear to have a starting lineup of Elliot Cadeau, RJ Davis, Cormac Ryan, Harrison Ingram, and Armando Bacot, adding someone of Kaluma’s caliber would be a big get.

Iowa Baseball and North Carolina Baseball played an elimination game in the Terre Haute Regional in the 2023 College Baseball Season. The winner would advance to play Indiana State in the regional final, needing 2 more wins to advance.
