Elliot Cadeau is coming to UNC a year early and one of the questions becomes “How will RJ Davis and Elliot Cadeau fit together in a way that Davis and Caleb Love didn’t last year?” Should we expect Cadeau to come in and grab the starting point guard spot right out of the gate?

Behind the presumptive starting five of Cadeau, Davis, Cormac Ryan, Harrison Ingram, and Armando Bacot, who will get minutes as part of the rotation? This Elliott Cadeau Reclass changes everything for North Carolina Basketball. Elliott Cadeau was a top recruit in the class of 2024 and he decided to reclass to 2023 and join the North Carolina Tar Heels a season early. Due to his age, skill, and recent success, he should fit well in a crowded backcourt with RJ Davis, Simeon Wilcher, Seth Trimble and Cormac Ryan. UNC basketball has been up and down but North Carolina is a contender again on paper with the addition of Elliott Cadeau.

UNC’s 5 Star PG prospect, Elliot Cadeau announced today that he would be reclassifying and going to UNC this fall for the start of the 2023-24 college basketball season. Cadeau and the NH Lightning closed the regular season of Nike EYBL with a blowout win against the Oakland Soldiers in a game where Cadeau finished with 30 points and 15 assists. 2024 Auburn commit Tahaad Petiford also finished with 25 points and only missed one shot attempt.
