Armando Bacot and RJ Davis project to be North Carolina’s two main leading scorers next season. A question from a listener ponders if the two could each be 20-point-plus scorers next season. North Carolina has officially announced the hiring of Marcus Paige to the men’s basketball staff as the Director of Team and Player Development. Bringing back one of the most beloved Tar Heels of all time to fill the position vacated by Jackie Manuel is a massive boon for Hubert Davis and staff. Perhaps most importantly – so many of the experiences Paige had his freshman season, including stepping into the starting lineup right away, will allow him to provide lots of wisdom and insight Elliot Cadeau who will be in a similar situation.

The Air Jordan 4 “UNC PE” is an unreleased sample colorway of the retro basketball shoe created for the North Carolina Tar Heels college basketball team for the 2019 NCAA March Madness Tournament. The “UNC” was one of several top-flight Nike sponsored programs to receive a special edition Air Jordan 4 in their school’s team uniform colors. On this design, the upper receives a University Blue suede construction. Tonal netting is found on the tongue and mid-panel. Translucent “wings” feature blue and black speckling and dual “UNC” and “Flight” branding appears on the tongue tag. A black Jumpman is found on the heel. A visible Air window appears in the heel of the white midsole. Underfoot, a translucent outsole completes the look.

Former UNC basketball recruit Simeon Wilcher announced that he is committing to play for Rick Pitino at St. John’s after decommitting from North Carolina Basketball earlier this month.
