North Carolina got off to a hot start vs. Louisville but had to battle in the 2nd half. Coach Hubert Davis allowed his team to play through the issues and figure things out on their own. RJ Davis records yet another 20-point-plus game and is shooting the lights out. Jae’lyn Withers had his best game of the season against his former team – his first double-double as a Tar Heel. Three other Tar Heels were in double-figures – Cormac Ryan, Armando Bacot, and Harrison Ingram. Is Cormac Ryan finding his shot?

The No. 23 North Carolina Tar Heels went on the road and came away with a tough 73-68 win over the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. Deja Kelly led the way with 27 points on 7-15 shooting from the floor and 10-12 shooting from the free throw line while Alyssa Ustby chipped in 15 points in the win. Tonie Morgan paced the Jackets with 15 points while Rusne Augustinaite hit some big three-pointers on her way to an 11-point game.
