North Carolina wins ugly (but WINS) at Notre Dame, 63-59. Armando Bacot had his 67th career double-double (16 points, 11 rebounds) and was one of 3 Tar Heels with double-figure rebounds (Leaky Black & Pete Nance). Caleb Love hit 4 clutch free throws down the stretch.

The Tar Heels played an exteremely ugly first half, finishing with 19 points and zero assists. Pete Nance got off to a hot start, scoring 9 of Carolina’s first 11, and also dished out a team-high five assists.

North Carolina vs. Notre Dame: The North Carolina Tar Heels earned a tough road win over the Notre Dame Fighting Irish on Wednesday, 63-59. It was a must-win game for the Heels, who rebounded from a 19-point 1st half to score 44 in the 2nd stanza as they came from behind and pulled away from the Irish. Armando Bacot recorded another double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds while Caleb Love also scored 16 points in the win. Cormac Ryan paced the Fighting Irish with 14 points and 7 rebounds in a losing effort.
