Reblogged 2 years ago from www.youtube.comIt’s the fourth week of the summer preview for the 2022-23 North Carolina Tar Heels men’s basketball roster. We take a one-week detour from previewing the four-player freshman class of Tyler Nickel, Will Shaver, Seth Trimble, and Jalen Washington, to evaluate the game of incoming Northwestern transfer and super senior, Pete Nance.
Northwestern transfer Pete Nance has committed to North Carolina for the 2022-23 season, completing the Tar Heels’ roster. He announced his decision via his Twitter / Instagram on Saturday, June 18.
On the third episode of our Scouting Report series, THI staff writer Jacob Turner and director of basketball recruiting/analyst David Sisk sit down to discuss 5-star UNC 2023 small forward target Matas Buzelis’ game, future development, and much more after David saw him play at the Nike EYBL Session 3 in Louisville on Memorial Day weekend.

Pete Nance (Larry Nance Jr’s Brother) transfers from Northwestern to UNC after removing his name from the early NBA Draft deadline. Nance will be a solid stretch defender and 3 point shooter, but do the Heels already have that in Puff Johnson?

Jeff Goodman joins Isaac Schade to talk about the upcoming college basketball season. How did the 2021-22 Tar Heels bring things together under first-year coach Hubert Davis to eventually make the national championship game? How did Goodman’s comments push Armando Bacot and the Heels to the point where Bacot pointed it out at the Final Four? RJ Davis & Caleb Love really stepped up their backcourt presence to become one of the more impressive tandems in the country – but it wasn’t always that way. Do the Tar Heels have anyone who can replace Brady Manek? Could Pete Nance be that guy?

Reblogged 2 years ago from www.youtube.comGeorge (@britishtarheel) invites John and Sam from one of the top Northwestern Basketball Podcasts (@westlotpirates) to learn what to expect from the arrival of Pete Nance.
What type of player is he? What is he like off the court? Can he shoot it?
All questions were answered on this emergency podcast by two men who have watched Pete closely for the past four years and I am more than excited after what John and Sam had to say.
