It’s a MAILBAG episode!
There’s questions about next season, like “Who do you think will breakout for UNC next season?” There are questions about next year’s starting lineup – whether it’s better to have a smaller starting lineup with Cormac Ryan at three and Harrison Ingram at four or Harrison Ingram at three and Jae’lyn Withers at the four. Will we continue to see fewer true centers and if so, why?
There are also questions looking back – what was the biggest issue with this past season’s team that led to the lack of on-court success? Who was the most underrated player of last season?
THI staff writer Jacob Turner and publisher Andrew Jones discuss if it’s fair to compare Hubert Davis’ first two seasons to Matt Doherty’s first two seasons at UNC.

Reblogged 1 year ago from www.youtube.comNorth Carolina has lost seven different players to the transfer portal, including Caleb Love, Puff Johnson, D’Marco Dunn, Dontrez Styles, Tyler Nickel, Justin McKoy, and Will Shaver. The question becomes: Who’s the most surprising of that group to leave Chapel Hill? On the other side of the coin, which of the incoming transfers will have the biggest impact: Paxson Wojcik, Harrison Ingram, Cormac Ryan, or Jae’lyn Withers? Is this overhaul a good “culture reset” for Carolina or is it too much turnover?
