USA Today published an article in which they interviewed the fathers of Caleb Love, D’Marco Dunn, and Puff Johnson, who each said the decision was up to the players. Regardless of the truth, what we learn is that not everyone is on the same page.

The news broke on Monday, the first day the transfer portal was open, that North Carolina senior Justin McKoy and freshman Tyler Nickel were entering the transfer portal. The McKoy news is perhaps not a shock, while the Nickel news brings more of a surprise. Coach Hubert Davis began meeting with players on Monday to discuss the future. As to updates on Armando Bacot, Caleb Love, RJ Davis and others with eligibility left, we’ll have to wait.
